BECOMING A TRAINER WITH CWBTS

If you’re passionate about the building and construction industry and are keen to share your knowledge and expertise with future industry legends, training could be the next step in your career.

CWBTS are proud to be Builders Training Builders – our trainers are industry experts and professionals in their trade.

When would I have to train?

Most of our delivery takes place on our client construction projects – from large civil works compounds and infrastructure upgrades through to domestic building sites our trades programs are delivered onsite in real time. With regional and metropolitan students, we are always looking for like-minded people. All of our trainers are tradies who enjoy some time off the tools training the next generations of Australian builders. From 1-5 days work per week, register your interest and we’ll call you back regarding trainer opportunities.

Most of our Diploma and Certificate IV courses are run after hours, so you would usually train with us two or four nights per week between 6:00pm-9:30pm.

Where are the courses?

Certificate II to Diploma programs with the majority of our work at trade level delivering to apprentices. The great thing about CWBTS is that we deliver anywhere! We are always looking for the very best trainers for our clients and students whether it be in our ‘virtual classroom based’ courses delivered across the country via live and interactive video conferencing with students, or one-on-one on construction sites. We are a growing RTO with students throughout regional and remote NSW, the ACT and in South East QLD.

What qualifications and experience do I need?

You’ll need to be an expert in your trade and hold extensive experience as a professional within the building and construction industry.

You must also hold the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and the qualifications which you would like to deliver. If you don’t hold these currently, don’t worry – speak to our team about how we may be able to support you in gaining the qualification you need.

Passionate training professionals are being sought for delivery of qualifications including carpentry, concreting, formwork and falsework, civil construction and construction management including the CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) and/or the CPC50210 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building)
